How do we achieve liberation? There are definitely plenty of black folk, people of all ages and walks of life, who have some ideas. Let me tell you, I've been working on this playlist for years now and until now, it's never felt ready to present as a cohesive collection of black vioces, earnestly speaking on the project of liberation and how we can begin to bring new worlds into existence.
How do you define liberation? How do you sense it? How do you breathe it in and out, wielding it in our communities? I don't fucking know man but we've gotta attack Liberation from every angle possible. Liberation hides in our hearts. It's learning to examine the way you see everything around you, and at the same time it's dismantling the toxic bond we all share to yt supremacy, anti-indigeneity, anti-blackness, orientalism, transmisogynoir, and capitalism.
